CAKES

 

• Sugar And Magic Cake Company, LLC is a made-to-order cottage food home bakery. 

• We proudly bake all of our cakes from the finest ingredients.  Therefore, each cake is individually made to order based on your requirements. 

• Cakes are stacked two (2") layers high and frosted with either a silky buttercream icing or fondant covered buttercream icing.   

• We require a minimum of 14-days notice for all custom orders. 

• For optimum quality and freshness, we recommend serving your cake within 24 hours after delivery or pickup as our cakes are baked from scratch and do not have a long shelf life. 

• We do not have cakes available for purchase on site as all orders are custom.

Custom Sculpted 3D Cakes - Minimum Order: $350:

• Regardless of size, our custom sculpted cake pricing starts at $350. 

• Price varies depending on the complexity and detail details of your cake.

• We require a minimum of 14 day notice for all custom 3D cake orders. 

• A smaller cake may take longer to design and create than a larger one; and therefore, it will be priced higher as it all depends on the complexity of your order.  However, never worry, if you can dream it, we can create it!
   

Custom Wedding Cakes - Minimum Order: $300

• Regardless of size, the minimum order for a Wedding Cake is $300. 

• Pricing depends entirely upon the detail, materials and how labor intensive your cake is, i.e., whether your wedding cake includes items such as custom handcrafted sugar flowers.

• Delivery and set-up charges are included with the price quoted.

Wedding Cake Consultations and Tastings - $45

• We offer consultations for custom wedding and sculpted groom cakes.

• To request a consultation, either submit a "Contact" form or email us directly at sam@samcakeco.com. 

• What should you include when reaching out for a consult? Any inspiration or images you have. Invitations, color swatches or any other items may also be helpful.

• The price for tasting appointments is $50 and is non-refundable.  This includes four flavor combinations of cake and frosting varieties.

ORDERS
 

How do I contact Sugar And Magic Cake Company?

• We limit the number of events we reserve each weekend and book on a first come, first serve basis.

• As we are a cottage-food home kitchen, each order is individually made to order. 

• We do not have a store-front where you can pick-up pre-made cakes. 

• Additionally, we do not book events or meet with clients more than one year in advance. 

• Call us directly at 419-285-6190 or fill out the form on our "Contact" page and we will respond to you within 24-48 hours.

How do I place a custom order?

• If you are looking to place a custom order, you can either click on our “Contact” tab, email us directly at sam@samcakeco.com, or just give us a call at 419-285-6190 during business hours which are found on that page.

• If you have any inspiration photos, invitations, a color palette, or any other helpful materials, please feel free to attach them with your email.

• We will contact you regarding your order and answer any questions within 24-48 hours.

• In order to execute the level or work you would expect from us (and we expect of ourselves), all sculpted cake orders start at $400.

• Payment in full is due at the time of order. 

• We require a minimum of 14-day notice for all custom orders and highly recommend that you order well in advance as our schedule is subject to fill up quickly and we can only take a certain amount of orders each week. 

• We cannot ship cakes at this time.

PAYMENT

• We accept all credit cards as well as Paypal payments via www.PayPal.me/samcakeco. 

• Payment in full is required on all orders at the time the order is placed. 

• We will contact you a week before your event to confirm final details and collect the balance due.

DELIVERY OR PICKUP

• Delivery is based upon mileage and travel time and is in addition to the cost of the cake. 

• Wedding cake delivery and set-up charges are included with the price of your wedding cake and are based on mileage. 

• If your delivery destination exceeds our limit, we will provide a delivery quote based on your delivery destination. 

• Pickup from our Mansfield location is also available during business hours.

Other
Are you a gluten free facility / Do you offer any gluten free options?  
We are not a gluten free facility; although we do our best to prevent any cross contamination, we cannot guarantee that our kitchen is 100% gluten free and therefore do not offer that option.
 

Is Sugar And Magic Cake Company a nut-free kitchen?
We do have a variety of desserts that do not contain nuts; however, because some of our desserts do contain nuts we cannot guarantee that our kitchen is nut free.
